Monterey Bay Blues Festival Battle of the Blues Bands, December 7, 2008

The Monterey Bay Blues Festival announces it’s annual Battle of the Blues Bands! Sunday, December 7, 2008 Monterey Fairgrounds, in the Monterey Room from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This year the fans will decide the winner our Battle of the Blues Bands competition. The winner will have opportunity to play the main stage at the 24th Annual Monterey Bay Blues Festival. Not only will you hear some of the hottest up and coming blues bands, you will also get a chance to see the Blues in the School All Star Band with Dennis Murphy! Admission is $10 and with each paid entrance you will receive a ballot to decide the winner. Make your vote count!!

Proceeds from the Battle of the Blues Bands event will benefit Monterey Bay Blues Festival’s music educational programs and operations.

Birdies for Charity is a fun and exciting way to make a charitable donation to the Monterey Bay Blues Festival based on the number of combined birdies scored by PGA TOUR players throughout the 2009 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am golf tournament, February 12 - 15.

MONTEREY PENINSULA FOUNDATION AND THE AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-AM are the host of the AT& Pebble Beach National Pro-Am annual golf tournament.
